1 pound Box Raisins<br />
1 pound Box Dates chopped<br />
1 pound Walnuts chopped<br />
1 1/2 cups Sugar<br />
1 Cup Butter<br />
4 Eggs<br />
1 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon<br />
1 teaspoon Baking Soda<br />
1/4 cup Water<br />
1 teaspoon Vanilla<br />
1/4 teaspoon Cream of Tartar<br />
3 Cups Flour</p>
<p><strong>Directions</strong><br />
1. Soak raisins in water overnight.<br />
2. In a large mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugar, slowly add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.<br />
3. Stir the baking soda into the 1/4 cup of water and then add to the creamed mixture.<br />
4. Sift the dry ingredients together then add to the creamed mixture, mixing well.<br />
5. Stir in the raisins, nuts and dates.<br />
6. Drop rounded spoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.<br />
7. Bake at 350F for about 15 minutes.</p>
